Hope everyone had a great day yesterday! Only once every 4 years you get to experience Feb. 29th.
With that said, February 2020 marks one of The Broke Investor’s businesses 5 year anniversary and I can tell you it’s been a heck of a ride.
For those of you who don’t know, a broke motion is a habit that someone does that keeps them broke. Back in 2018 I came up with the 101 Broke Motions outline and it got lost among several of my success journals.
The beginning of 2020 is when I came across it after reviewing my success journals and I decided to actually put in the time to write it up and help people avoid what keeps broke people, broke. After spending countless of hours and $$$, I finally completed 101 Broke Motions and released it on Feb. 29, 2020 to everyone who subscribed.
Now, back to evaluating my business from Feb. 2015 to Feb. 2020.
The business was created after I convinced my wife to join me in entrepreneurship. I had quit my corporate job in late 2014 and the first business I created was doomed to failed. So, why would I convince my wife to leave her job too and create another business… Not sure. 🙂
But we make one heck of a team! Without further ado, here are the results:
- February 2015: $0
- February 2016: $970
- February 2017: $1,500
- February 2018: $2,475
- February 2019: $3,352
- February 2020: $11,789.90
Note: It’s not easy, but it’s simple!
First off, I would like to mention that it doesn’t matter what industry you are in. Every industry has successful individuals. The question is, are you willing to do whatever it takes to succeed?
I’m not going over this to showboat, FAR FROM IT!
I’m sharing this because I didn’t even think it was possible for my wife and I to do it. But, from earning $0 in a month to earning over $10k in a single month, I am now convinced if we can do it, ANYONE CAN!
Keep growing, keep investing!
Even if you are The Broke Investor.
p.s. Back in 2018, I notated in my success journal that I would earn over $10k in January 2020. I was one month off.
p.s.s. Let me know what industry you are in and if you are in business. I’d love to hear your success stories.
